Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food preparation, with experience in retail or the food industry. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve deli products such as meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads - Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations - Operate deli equipment including slicers, scales, and ovens - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Handle cash transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system - Follow food safety guidelines and regulations - Assist in receiving and stocking deli inventory Qualifications: - Previous experience in a deli, restaurant, or kitchen setting is preferred - Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions accurately - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude - Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures - Familiarity with sales techniques to promote deli products effectively Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience in the food industry - Proficiency in food preparation techniques - Understanding of POS systems for processing sales efficiently Join our team as a Deli Associate and be part of a dynamic environment where you can showcase your passion for customer service and food while contributing to the success of our deli department.
